“We had our son at the end of September 2021 and our BaskNest came at just the right time! Every item was thought out from the first to the last. It addressed all the needs of the whole family- not just Mom but Dad and Baby too! I thought I had prepared for Postpartum but this basket covered things I hadn't thought of or didn't think I would like or use. And I ended up really liking, using and repurchasing those things. This is a service I did not understand the real, lasting value in until I was a Mom myself. Now if there is ever an opportunity to pour into someone elses Basknest I will gladly send what I am able because I remember how treasured and seen it made me feel. I’ve had the privilege of being blessed by It Takes a Village and the BaskNests for two babies! After having my first baby girl, we were blessed with a basket full of postpartum care, yummy snacks, breastfeeding essentials, and even gifts for my husband. We BOTH felt so seen and cared for. Especially when life feels very vulnerable, new, and a little fragile, to feel like we had people in our corner was invaluable. We also were blessed with a baby boy 14 months later, and got to have another BaskNest. This time, it also included little special gifts for my daughter. I was a little afraid of feeling overlooked because I wasn’t a “first time mom,” but I felt the same love and care that we did with our first child. I’m SO beyond thankful to have been blessed by this ministry and love supporting them in any way I can!
